KONAY PRIMER 385-CS
(For thermoplastic and rubber soles)
A halogenation solution required for bonding synthetic rubber, natural rubber and thermoplastic rubber (TR) soles using polyurethane-based adhesives.

Preparing the solution
Add the supplied chemical powder to the solvent mixture in the bottle. The amount of powder to add should be determined by preliminary testing, particularly for thermoplastic rubber soles. The average powder amount is 2% for thermoplastic rubber soles and 4% for synthetic and natural rubber soles. Shake thoroughly until the added powder dissolves.
Prepare only the amount of solution required. The prepared solution can be stored for 24 hours away from sunlight. Avoid contact with iron-containing objects; your container and brush should not contain wire, tin or similar materials.
After applying Primer-clxs, wait at least 15 minutes and no more than 4 hours before applying the adhesive.

• As it contains flammable solvents, work areas must be very well ventilated and work must be carried out on downdraft benches for occupational health and safety.
• Use protective equipment such as goggles, gloves and a mask.
• Keep away from sunlight and fire.
• Take precautions against electrostatic charging.
